The predecessor law firm to Burke & Beuoy, P.C. was founded in Arab, Alabama by R. Claud Burke in 1969. The current firm was formed in 1986 when David Beuoy joined the practice. Mr. Beuoy had previously been in private practice for a number of years in Franklin County, Alabama. Liles C. Burke became a member a of the practice in 1994.
Burke & Beuoy is a full service law firm, representing and advising clients in the areas of Real Estate, Family Law, Divorce, Child Custody, Business Law, Personal Injury, Automobile Accidents, Wrongful Death, Wills and Probate, Criminal Defense. The firm engages in a general practice of most areas of the law with an emphasis on real estate, divorce and custody, probate, and personal injury matters.
The firm currently represents a number of banks and mortgage companies as well as several municipal boards and local businesses and individuals.
The attorneys of Burke & Beuoy, P.C. are actively practicing in the North Alabama counties of Marshall, Cullman, Blount, and Morgan as well as Federal Court in Alabama. Depending upon the subject matter, the firm often handles matters in many other counties of Alabama.
